Soil is the heart and soul of our planet. Put simply, we can't live without it.

52% of Agricultural soils
are already degraded

Indeed, it is estimated that, overall, 33% of soils are presently moderately to highly degraded due to erosion, salinization, acidification, contamination, or compaction (FAO and ITPS, 2015) and that 52% of agricultural land is already moderately or severely affected by soil degradation (ELD, 2015).
The Crisis

FOOD CRISIS
The reasons for hunger and food insecurity are many and vary from country to country, but generally, it is a result of conflict, poverty, economic shocks such as hyperinflation and rising commodity prices and environmental shocks such as flooding or drought.

WATER SCARCITY
